Audience Member Been binging on Irish movies for a few weeks and this is "far and away" the best I've seen, yet. Not the same old sappy Irish-American pap, nor the revenge-driven political fare. It's thoughtful, amazingly well-acted by the two youngest cast members (as well as the adults) and has a lot to say in a different way than you've probably seen before. Great on many levels. I can't believe this didn't become an underground cult blockbuster. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Can't believe that all the so-called film critics haven't critiqued this film as yet. It's been around long enough! A true hidden gem. So well worth the time you spend watching it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member A satisfication of cinematic friendship. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member This was a really brilliant drama. Beautifully acted by the two young boys, and Julie Walters was brilliant as ever. Highly enjoyable storyline, while tackling the troubles of Belfast at the same time. I wasn't too sure about the scene where Mickybo was talking to his dead father, but it's a very good film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Just finished watching this. Great coming of age story of two boys in Belfast from other sides of the bridge.
