daniel r Excellent revival, and well shot. Eva Noblezada and Jon-Jon Briones are terrific. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The problem with musical's is that it can take more than one watch to gain an opinion. From my initial viewing, the songs are meh and many are poor. The visualisation is fantastic, the "engineer" is the star in the show for me. Maybe once I have watched it again my rating may go up as clearly I am missing something that others see. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member One of my favourite ever musicals, and this truly is the best cast and production out there, every performance is phenomenal, Eva Noblezada and Jon Jon Briones in particular are absolute stars, and provide a real triumph for the need for diversity in professional theatre. The only negative of this film is the same as a lot of professional filmings of musicals, it's cinematographically a little erratic, far too much camera movement and changes in angles, often I find it hard to focus on what's going on, and I just wish they'd been able to tone it down and let the art speak for itself a little more. Other than that, amazing performance of an amazing show Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Goosebumps throughout the whole film. I remember listening to the Miss Saigon album 25 years ago as a kid and imagining the scenes with limited understanding... Watching it now as an adult is just a gripping experience. Powerful stuff. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member What an amazing production. So much better than the original Broadway Production; this is one of the best productions I've seen in a long time. Absolutely loved it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazingly good show- great 25 year celebration. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Read all reviews
