Kathy Fennessy Seattle Film Blog Michael Parrish's feature-film debut is one in a long line of calculatedly quirky romantic comedies that feel more cynical than sincere. Rated: 2.5/4 Apr 7, 2024 Full Review Joshua Tanzer Offoffoff Parness is a tourist in the land of mental illness, sitting in the air-conditioned tour bus of his mind looking out at the people below & scratching his head for clumsy jokes. Rated: 0.5/4 Jun 7, 2005 Full Review Cherryl Dawson and Leigh Ann Palone TheMovieChicks.com Starts out pretty funny, but the suicide theme runs out of gas during the road trip and they didn't seem to have anywhere else interesting to take this couple. Rated: 3/5 Apr 13, 2005 Full Review Erik Childress eFilmCritic.com Distracting in both appearance and tone; keeping us from caring if either of these characters find love or death first. Death would be preferable. Rated: 1.5/4 Mar 24, 2005 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Another offbeat romantic comedy, this one lacks originality and likeable characters. It leaves an unpleasante taste while watching. After about 30 minutes I just didn't care about the movie anymore. This film is titled Crazy For Love on DVD, and is also known as My Suicidal Sweetheart. It's never a good sign when a movie has several different titles. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Here's some of what I saw at South By Southwest Film Festival. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This one is special, check it out. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Frances H For the first half hour, this film did not appeal to me at all and seemed rather boring. But after that, the quirkiness of it started make it different from even other independent productions I've seen before, let alone the more formulaic kind of thing Hollywood has been coming up with lately-predictable. David Krumholtz character, Max, became less annoying and even somewhat charming, and so did many of the others. Although not the best film I ever seen, it was far from the worst. And at least it wasn't the same old thing-again. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/03/12 Full Review Audience Member decent with a few laughs, but not phenomenal by any stretch. cast was really good, tim blake nelson playing three roles. guillermo diaz cracks me up in this as a mental patient. also i don't think this is a hard role for natasha lyonne to play, she looks kinda nuts already Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member I was the only one of 4 people watching that didn't want the movie turned off half-way through.
