Josh G This is a parody of heist and gangster films, provided to the backdrop of dry comedy and good but not great performances. Dick van dyke steals every scene and a painting. Bill Murray the man who knew too little owes a lot to this film like most of the plot. Edward G Robinson is a parody of himself and fun to see. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/13/23 Full Review r 9 'Never a Dull Moment' is worth watching, even if it could've been much greater. First and foremost, Dick Van Dyke is very good in the role of Jack Albany. The film does have issues, but none of them are to do directly with Van Dyke - if anything, he is the thing stopping this from being bad; well, he and Edward G. Robinson (Leo). The premise is decent, though the way it's portrayed is what cheapens the film in my eyes. It's more silly than serious, which probably works against it. The same story taken more proper would be way more enjoyable in my opinion, still with comedy in it but just with a sterner side to it. It drags a tad at the end, nevertheless it's still a production I like. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This has to be the best Disney movie I've ever seen.I use to watch Disney movies as a kid & remember when they didn't suck but nowadays I never watch them anymore. This goes to show that you can't go wrong with old school Disney. They don't make them like they use to anymore Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member (First and only viewing - 8/3/2010) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member It gets points for a great ensemble cast. Dick Van Dyke mixed up with a lot that includes Edward G. Robinson and Slim Pickens, how does that fail? Well maybe the occasional lack of comedy, and a lot of very silly bits. Still Its a generally witty movie helped along fiercely by the talents of many of the actors, especially Dick Van Dyke. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Unfortunately there are a few dull moments here, but Dick tries, as does everyone else. Just needs a little bit more inspiration. Nice to see the old faces, though. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
