Edward K I love Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing movies, and seen probably all their Hammer films. But, I just couldn't get into this film. It was slow and boring and could t figure out what was going on. Turned it off after a few mins. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/20/23 Full Review Audience Member This could have been a great film, but it never quite makes up it's mind whether it's a crime, sci-fi or horror. Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee are on their usual high form, but the sight of Diana Dors trying to hide from the police in a brunette wig and a red coat takes some credibility away from the film. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member interesting but draggy. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/24/20 Full Review Audience Member Okay Christopher Lee/Peter Cushing outing that was actually produced by Lee's production company (it's first and only production). The film had potential with Lee playing a good guy for a change as a police detective investigating a series of deaths, which leads him to Satanic worshiping school children. I was hoping this would be something along the lines of "The Devil Rides Out" but the film's good bits, and there are quite a few good creepy moments, are bogged down by an awful lot of dull exposition. Not bad, but not great. Overall, this one is kind of a mixed bag. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member OK late career hammer horror Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Nice little thriller that manages to keep the twist hidden right to the end. Eddie Harrison film-authority.com …an odd little film, but there’s an original idea in there, and with a cast of classic British stars, it’s better than nothing as a casual watch… Rated: 3/5 Feb 4, 2024 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews Convoluted murder mystery with unconvincing supernatural threads.
