Tim Ballard said in an interview, "I will never be as cool as Jim Caviezel". Yep, I think I agree. That is why we hire actors to tell our stories. . Several people have told me the movie "Sound of Freedom" was fiction. Prior to making the movie "Sound of Freedom", there was a documentary made about the same story. It was called "Operation Toussaint". It shows the actual footage of the story presented in Sound of Freedom. . Instead of Hollywood pretty people and smooth dialogue, it was made with body cam footage and homemade videos, but it shows the same story as Sound of Freedom. . How did the documentary and Sound of Freedom compare? There was a lot more to the story but it was no nearly as polished. The documentary is heartbreaking, but it also gives more information. Prepare to have your heart ripped out for a second time. See more 07/22/2020 I wasn’t expecting to be so captivated by the story. I figured it would be like a typical documentary. However, I fell in love with the people in this film (well, most of the good people—some people sent shivers up my spine!). I would strongly recommend everyone watch this. This is an amazing movie that sheds light on the truth of human trafficking and what drives the demand. If you abhor slavery, please watch this and join the fight!
