What an absolute mess of a plot! Is it about a poker game? Betrayal of friends? A botched burglary?? Seriously way too many plot lines and nothing ever goes deep enough to make sense in terms of a solid story line. Such a waste of 90 minutes of my life.

I’m actually quite surprised to see this film receive such a low rating both critically and from viewers. The movie itself also surprised me, as I started out with low expectations for the film myself, but was quite surprised when it came to an end and I could hardly believe roughly 90 minutes had actually passed. While I’m not claiming it to be a great movie, I certainly didn’t finish it thinking it was bad in any way either. It’s actually rare these days for a movie to hold my attention so consistently and effectively that I become unaware that it’s runtime has already elapsed! I would say that it is at least worth a watch for that reason if no other. The story was engaging and efficiently told in its modest hour & a half runtime. If anything, I kind of wanted there to be something else to happen for it to not have already ended, unlike many thrillers that drag on and on whilst still failing to come full circle by their ends. As for the movie buff “with over 25,000 movies” who rated it a half star, if you’re such a buff with so many movies, there’s no way you could intelligently rank this lowest possible and not have seen countless movies that are so bad they’d make this look like an Oscar winner. And 25,000 movies at 90 minutes average per film is almost 5 years of continuous 24/7 watching, so either total BS, or someone needs to get a life, especially if after so many films you’d be so incapable of accurately rating as to give this one a 1/2 star.
