"Rosaline" is a fresh and comedic twist on Shakespeare's classic love story "Romeo & Juliet," told from the perspective of Juliet's cousin Rosaline (Kaitlyn Dever), who also happens to be Romeo's recent love interest. “Rosaline” is a perfectly fun film, and can be sharp in execution when it wants to be. But as much as Rosaline exudes wit and rebellion at every turn, the character lacks the depth that makes a Kat Stratford live on in the cultural lexicon.

I love Shakespeare and had high hopes from this movie. It's not just the anachronisms that made me hate this movie, it's the lack of...everything. Few minutes in and I found myself wanting to do something else I didn't the feel the chemistry between the main characters and the storyline is generic and was done better in other movies.
