Ashish K Definitely worth the time .Watch it for performances of the lead actors -Madhavan is a revelation Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/21/23 Full Review yash b This is a solid sports movie from Bollywood. I do feel it is surpassed by other films in its genre, but nonetheless, this one has certain qualities that make it stand out. I think the movie's greatest asset is that is showcases some very good performances. I do feel there is a bit too much going on in the story and for that sometimes it's hard to tell what the movie wants to focus on. I think if it focused up a little more on the sports element of the story and took out all of the romance elements, I may have considered it to be a great one. Overall, it's a solid sports movie that has a positive message and features a great boxing sequence in the final act. Fans of sports movies should check it out. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Maddy seems to be a Mark of Quality Cinema, worth watching. Great Performances and good boxing flix Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Madhvan was good. But story compromised with Boxing. Could not connect with it. Good but could be better. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member I liked the movie, but I did fell it went overboard with the storytelling. The plot revolves around dirty politics in woman's boxing association. A boxing coach finds a promising boxer in the slums, they go through hardship & challenges to become the best in the country only to face the hurdle of corruption and enmity by the association head. I understand there are problems with sports association but the movie makers must have combined all the issues faced by different individuals into this single story. Also, romantic songs and angles are not needed in a sports movie. It does have great casting and performance by all, the leads as well as supporting actors. A good watch and really good efforts in covering a genre (woman in sports) normally ignored by the public in general Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member awesome screenplay and direction Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Namrata Joshi The Hindu The central characters might be nicely defined on paper but the performances are set a few notes too high. Jan 2, 2019 Full Review Rachel Saltz New York Times Ms. Kongara seems to know the clichés of fighter movies and is mostly unembarrassed to embrace them. That keeps the film humming along, as does Mr. Madhavan, who grows in stature along with Adi. Jan 31, 2016 Full Review Rahul Desai CatchNews These overcooked, manufactured emotions are redundant layers in context of typical underdog stories. Saala Khadoos is everything that is wrong with this genre. Rated: 1.5/5 Feb 7, 2019 Full Review Pooja Pande BookMyShow The film is crisp, and does not stray away from its USP at any point - its emotional connection with us, the audience. Jan 17, 2019 Full Review Sukanya Verma Rediff.com Between its many, many confused, underdeveloped, raucous ideas hides the film Saala Khadoos set out to be. Too bad it never made it to the screen. Rated: 2/5 Jul 2, 2018 Full Review Saibal Chatterjee NDTV Why does Saala Khadoos fail to land the knockout punch in spite of getting a few hooks and upper cuts right? Despite the many promising situations that it rustles up, there is little room in the well-intentioned yet rough-hewn drama for genuine surprises.
