I was disappointed in the first movie. The 2 and 3 movies were way better. The storyline wasn't that great, the acting was okay. The CGI was the best part of the movie, but other than that this movie was very disappointing. I think they should remake it.

I thought it started out like a "fresh" approach to "War of the Worlds", great special effects, acting was decent (though somewhat predictable...) My BIGGEST complaint was that movies should be REQUIRED to put a disclaimer, a notification, SOMETHING at the beginning that clearly states, "This is just a two hour pilot for a series with which we hope to generate funding in order to film the REST of the story at some indeterminate time in the future..." No plot resolution at end, more of a "cliff hanger"! If I had ANY inkling how it would end, I would not have invested an entire evening watching it! End the STORY for cryin' out loud!
