ra’xy T @cxte_ Mar 18 what a effing joke. 37:50 mark really did piss me off so great job with that little miss denise.. what the f*ck was that? an interpretive dance for the aliens in their big ships? this movie was just absolute rage bait. every character was stupid and horrible. they absolutely should’ve stayed in that apartment and formulated an actual plan they could agree on. i saw the ratings and still gave it a chance bc there are many great movies with low ratings due to people trying too hard to be critics—- but the low ratings was nothing more than deserved. director and writer’s said yea yall just do the most mediocre things you can think of and have no common sense! action!!! Yeah it starts a bit slow but the action, creatures, cgi is pretty enjoyable. A little more action would've been nice but I've seen way worse movies that had much bigger budgets. Any movie that relies on second-tier TV Actors as its stars is just asking to suck. And this movie is no different. Great visual effects, terrible story, so many missed opportunities for mediocrity, and oh, the acting is deplorable. That said, when acting is so bad across the board, you have to look at the director. Not *everyone* could be that bad. But if everyone is being directed badly, then well... there you have it.
