Audience Member 3 3/4s---Nice made-for-tv type of movie. Young adult Ricky Schroder. A good family heartwarmer. Rated 3.5/5 Stars •  Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member from 1990 This movie was based on a true story Rick Schroder is in it & Stephen Dorff as well. After his makes a promise to his mother.. the trials & tribulations the Eldest son (Schroder) goes through to keep his family together after his mother dies. It was touching & one of those, poor guys just can?t catch a break.
