When John Connor (Jason Clarke), leader of the human resistance against Skynet, sends Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back to 1984 to protect his mother, Sarah (Emilia Clarke), from a Terminator assassin, an unexpected turn of events creates an altered timeline. As flashy as it is with tremendous and eye-popping special effects, it has created an extremely convoluted mess of merged timelines and revisionist storytelling that treads all over what made the 1984 original and superior 1991 sequel so great.

This movie tells the tale of two Terminators; a film that starts out promising and an utterly incoherent train wreck in the second half. Genisys is another failed attempt to return the Terminator series to form.

The hate this terminator movie gets in my opinion is ridiculious. I feel like people jump on the hate train for things to easily. Its not the best terminator movie buy any stretch of the imagination but certainly not the worst...i think this movie is better than terminator 3 and dark fate. I havent seen salvation yet so cant say on that movie. If you enjoy the terminator franchise I say this movie is a fun time. It did something new and slightly different and I cant take away from that. I liked the woman playing a young Sarah Conner, Arnold was good and doing his thing as usual. I feel there were some miscasting of Kyle Reese but his version has grown on me. Ive watched this movie multiple times and havent grown tired of it yet 😅. I wish we could have gotten another movie to this AU of terminator 😞 or at least a spin of series. I think it eould have been nice to see.

Of all Terminator Films this one was not very exciting, it felt kinda weak in its action, and pacing had a struggle also it kinda bugs me seeing how in the scene of Pops vs the 1984 T800 from T1 how easy they made it seem to kill a Terminator when in the first film it took a Propane Truck, 2 Pipe Bombs and a Hydraulic Press while this, one bullet did it all, also I wish Robert Patrick was able to play as the T1000, shame he wasn't in this one

It's a great concept of the screeplay r great castimg n acting r strong n slightly better than DARK FATE this has try to use some new story but has its flaw but I appreciate the concept that bring some ideas of the reimagine r great like it♥️😃🦸‍♂️
