Blobbo X @Blobbo 11/30/2023 Movie slight but watchable. Cummings not really leading man material. Still, passed time ok. See more Steve D 06/01/2023 One of Barbara's worst. See more 11/17/2013 A delightful comedy that the entire family will enjoy!!!! See more 10/05/2013 silly triffle wanna be screwball comedy that misses the mark. See more bill t 04/24/2013 Just an ok comedy vehicle for Ms. Stanwyck here. She plays a horse enthusiast married to a civil war historian whose marriage is on the skids. When she finds him in more compromising positions with his secretary than he can explain, he dumps him. How will he woo her back? Does he want her? Does she want her? This was just ok, everyone here seems to having an awkward time. Cummings and Stanwyck have zero chemistry together, and Stanwyck looks like she can hardly wait for the whole thing to be over. See more 12/26/2010 **1/2 (out of four) Not one of Barbara Stanwyck's best films. She is engaging as always but the comedy elements just don't work well enough. Stanwyck is a Southern bell who raises horses. She marries a historian (Robert Cummings) but he is being wooed by the cute neighbor girl. See more Read all reviews
