Roberto Tyler Ortiz Loud and Clear Reviews It’s a bold but flawed meditation on loss, leaving an impression that is haunting but ultimately incomplete. Rated: 3/5 Dec 11, 2024 Full Review Michael Talbot-Haynes Film Threat The film has a slick, functional style that maintains focus, with an often bombastic synth score to liven things up. Kalie S I absolutely LOVED this movie. Tony Todd gave a fantastic and moving performance. Unlike most horror films that use occult or metaphysical story lines, The Activated Man got the a lot right. I don't want to give any spoilers, so I will just say that I enjoyed the movie so much that I will definitely buy a copy of it on Blu-ray if they release one. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/10/25 Full Review Daniel A OMG! I love really bad cheesy movies. I have been so desensitized by the volume of these movies I have watched that I don't even flinch anymore. This movie caught me off-guard. I literally had several moments where I could not shake the chilled sensation. This movies was so well-written and the Fedora Man is now one of my favorite villains both visually and in concept. Nicholas Gyeney please write and direct more! All the actors knocked their characters out of the park, but here are a couple of honorable mentions. When it comes to Kane Hodder, he has been a favorite slasher villain but I never really thought he has ever been given a fair shake when it comes to acting (speaking) roles. He was phenomenal! Tony Todd has always been perfection and did not disappoint in this role. I'm going to miss him. I even freaking cried at the end (I won't give spoilers). 5 out of 5, easy. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/02/25 Full Review Teresa S I really liked the film. I thought the story was really interesting and loved the twists in it. It didn’t feel like it was trying too hard and the twist made sense/felt natural. I also enjoyed featuring the grief over losing a pet (I’m an animal lover too and had to put my husky down about 2 years ago) and I enjoyed that a male character had psychic capabilities as being intuitive and connected is usually seen as a female dominant thing. Perfect film for animal lovers and those into the metaphysical. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/27/24 Full Review Michael J. E All movies should be about how you get super powers because you love your dog so much. 6 stars out of 5. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/19/24 Full Review Toby C This movie was incredible! I watched it at the Days of the Dead Film Festival! I have always been a fan of Tony Todd and i believe this was his absolute best performance to date!! Great story line too! I loved it and im sure you will too!! Check it out today!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/17/24 Full Review Audience Member Loved this film. Great message and great performance from Tony Todd.
