Scott Marks San Diego Reader In Moe Berg, Rudd helps director Ben Lewin (Paperback Writer, The Sessions) add another unforgettable passive hero to the his increasing menagerie. Rated: 3/5 Aug 10, 2018 Full Review Soren Andersen Seattle Times It's an absorbing character study of a most intriguing man. Rated: 3/4 Jul 25, 2018 Full Review Tomris Laffly Time Out It's a less than passable espionage thriller watered down by a vague character study. Rated: 2/5 Jul 3, 2018 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...a decent-enough piece of work that mostly feels like it should be much, much better. Rated: 2.5/4 Jan 1, 2023 Full Review Dominic Griffin Spectrum Culture Moe Berg's story deserved a better movie. Dakota W I don't understand all the negative reviews. The lighting, and cinamotography were great... No it wasn't a "thriller", but it did inform me of a historical situation I knew nothing of. The ending was the clincher. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/18/24 Full Review Valaya G It was great. There was an air of mystery to the whole thing that captured this unusual story well, especially Berg's secretive nature. I don't understand the negative reviews. What did people expect, a James Bond with all the action? That would have made no sense. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review clay k I found it to be a really entertaining character study. Highly entertaining and very underrated. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/11/24 Full Review GuestLord D It's okay, the direction was decent but didn't have that pull to make it desirable over the whole length Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/24 Full Review R H Excellent story which should be more widely known than it is. Paul Rudd does a phenomenal job. The commitment to speaking in different languages, the scenery, the costumes, it is all just great. The writing is wonderful. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/24 Full Review LinTahoe T I thought was a fantastic film and well done Paul Rudd did a fantastic job. Love it watch over an over again. Just one thing, I wish it was a bit longer. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/24 Full Review Read all reviews
