Nick M This Keaton short is reportedly a cinematic character assassination of William S. Hart in retaliation for the Western star's public statements against Buster's friend and colleague, Roscoe Arbuckle, during his famous criminal proceedings involving the deceased Virginia Rappe. He definitely skewers his acting style and paints the "good bad guy" as an objectively bad guy, minus the good. There is also a brief laugh at the expense of Erich von Stroheim, which I found amusing. Contemporaneous audiences apparently found this to be a scream, but most of the comedic elements have faded with age and there is little left to recommend it to modern viewers.
