SweeTart Classic. Excellent soundtrack. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/21/24 Full Review Penny P This is one of my favorite films of all time. I can't say enough about the cinematography, music, and acting. If you haven't seen it, I think you should because it has held up over time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/15/24 Full Review Augustine J Calling this film epic is the epitome of an understatement. This movie has one of the best scores of all time. It's a score that has become ubiquitous with westerns and almost with film in general. It's almost 3 hours of film perfection. With beautiful shots, engaging action, and legendary characters. Blondie, played by Clint Eastwood, is impeccable. Tuco is fun and rides the line perfectly between being a comic relief and legitimately threatening. And Angel Eyes, woah, Lee Van Cleef is great, such an ominous on-screen presence. The cat and mouse game between these three makes for one of the best plots of any film I've seen. This movie is not only one of the greatest westerns of all time, but with out a doubt, one of the greatest movies of all time. There is so much there. It's so beautiful. It's so legendary. So iconic. You simply must watch this movie. It's required viewing for life. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/01/24 Full Review Wayne B Outstanding. Captures the attitude of the old west. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/24 Full Review Agustín R The film of sergio leone is perfect Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/29/24 Full Review Andrew Y One of the best films of all time, stands the test of time because it brilliantly shows the demons in us all. $1.8m budget is unbelievable. Faultless and Pure genius from start to finish. Up there with Once Upon a Time in America and Once Upon a time in the West. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/20/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Ed Potton Times (UK) Ennio Morricone’s soundtrack is widely regarded as the best of his career, with the moody, two-note flute melody... an instantly recognisable refrain that is folksy and avant-garde at the same time. Apr 22, 2024 Full Review TIME Magazine All three arrive at the cache at the same time. Who gets it? Director Leone doesn't seem to care very much, and after 161 minutes of mayhem, audiences aren't likely to either. Aug 11, 2008 Full Review Derek Malcolm London Evening Standard It still looks a treat and a bold and largely successful attempt to recast the traditions of the genre in a new, sometimes critical, almost operatic way. Rated: 4/5 Aug 1, 2008 Full Review Zita Short InSession Film It makes a case for Sergio Leone as a true artist and it slowly reveals itself to have real emotional heft when you begin considering some of the ambitious themes that Leone tackles. Feb 2, 2023 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy While it may not be the best Western ever made - heck, it's not even the best Western Leone ever made - it's clearly the work of a master filmmaker whose style has never grown stale. Rated: 3.5/4 Apr 30, 2021 Full Review Sarah Boslaugh TheArtsStl If you only see one spaghetti Western in your lifetime, this is the one to see. Rated: 8/10 Apr 27, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews
