Detective Phil Philips is a down-on-his-luck puppet who used to work for the Los Angeles Police Department. When two puppets from an old TV show wind up dead, Phil suspects something is afoot and rejoins the LAPD as a consultant. The idea of a R-rated Jim Henson movie is a nice idea, but not executed well. Most of the puppets are decently designed, and some of the acting is ok. It's basically Sesame Street meets South Park.

It's immature, crass, but had a great time watching it with friends. This isn't art, it's meant to be a big joke, and i think it succeeded. Was surprised to see so many negative reviews, I think it delivered on everything it promised.

It doesn't surprise me that the movie critics joke say they're basically wasted in time. And it's a waste of your time and in sense for watch this movie. How wrong wrong wrong? I think they are. The first time I watched this movie, I was home alone. Laughing out loud for at least half that movie. It was hilarious. 3 weeks later, I came home not in a good mood and I thought I'll put this movie back on. Maybe that I'll cheer me up 5 minutes later. I was cracking up at this movie and I felt great. Whatever was bugging me or bother me gone because, even watching it in a second and third time. I still laugh just as hard people that don't have a sense of humor yeah, don't watch it cause you won't get it.
