After arriving safely home from their unprecedented victory in the 74th Annual Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) discover that they must do a quick turnaround and begin a Victors Tour. As she and Peeta travel throughout the districts, Katniss senses a rebellion is stirring. Greetings from Lithuania. "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" (2013) is, as of writing this in early 2026, the best film in the "Hunger Games" series by far - in my opinion. This is a near perfect sequel to "Hunger Games" that was good, but this one was just better in every way. Nearly everything in "Catching Fire" works on highest notes - from a terrific acting of great cast, to pitch perfect editing, directing and writing. At running time 2 h 18 min this movie never draggs and is involving from a get go. Revesting the entire series in 2026 on 4K UHD format I did enjoyed this film just as i did back in 2013 - it is an amazing sequel. Overall, "Catching Fire" is the best film in the series, and a great example of how to make an excellent sequel. Bigger, better in every way and involving from start to finish, this is a superb entertainment.
