After arriving safely home from their unprecedented victory in the 74th Annual Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) discover that they must do a quick turnaround and begin a Victors Tour. As she and Peeta travel throughout the districts, Katniss senses a rebellion is stirring. I enjoyed the first film but thought it lacked the spark the book had, but this one is fantastic! It is WAY better than the first film and on par with the book, so amazing! 9/10

This movie is an excellent sequel to the first. While the third and fourth movies leave a bad taste in the mouth, this second film create an excellent build-up to a true dystopian reality. There are moments of cheesiness or over-dramatization, but he overall acting and writing in this film is compelling and believable. The story/plot is excellent, and I was so intrigued the entire time. This is easily the best movie in the original series. President Snow is such a good bad guys, and I would say this is a must watch.
