Barb L Bad bad acting! Extremely unrealistic portrayal of plantation life Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/08/24 Full Review Audience Member The North Star is a good story, with an interesting plot and many topics for discussion. It's not rosy, with difficult scenes and very difficult language throughout. The PG-13 rating may be too light for the overall effect of the film. Several scenes have monologues that are moral lessons, which are the intended themes of the film. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member The set and language of the play didn't quite fit the period. Single shot firearms were shot multiple times without reloading or recoil. Just some unrealistic factors that ruined the movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
