Russ G Another quickie buddy flick featuring the rakish Gerald Mohr as the semi-reformed jewel thief and cheeky Eric Blore as his British manservant and wingman. It's a post-war romcom with glamorous dames, swanky nightclubs, mobsters, bumbling cops, and the rest of the usual stock characters. If you have an odd hour to kill, this will do the trick. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/18/25 Full Review Bill T Gerald Mohr takes over the Lone Wolf role in this movie of the long-running series. He makes for a pretty good Michael Lanyard. Eric Blore continues on as the annoying Jamieson though. Here they go back to their roots where they try locate the whereabouts of a stolen jewel. This is notably more simple than the usual Lone Wolf entries I found, a lot less characters and a lot less complicated plot. Not bad, but maybe just a wee bit too simple.
