Pare Lorentz Judge The hospital scene in The Patent Leather Kid is the most sickening exhibition of bad taste I have ever witnessed. However, it’s all a part of the process of stimulating the public. Dec 27, 2023 Full Review Roy Chartier Billboard Indubitably a good picture, but it could have been a much more pleasing work had about 1,000 or 1,500 feet been cut out of the first part. Louisa E Snore. This movie could have been an hour shorter. Acting was pretty bad. Ray Turner's performance was good but safe to say, this is one of the worst movies I've seen for the year. 3/10. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 05/08/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a movie about a boxer who scoffs at fighting outside the ring...particularly for the United States once it enters WW 1. Eventually he is drafted, goes overseas, and performs a heroic act which results in him being severely wounded. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review steve d Powerful for its day.
