      Molly E Walker, the DCI and main character in this series, is completely unlikeable. He behaves little better than the criminals he pursues. This series was produced in the late 1990's so he is like so many trumped up little power tripping cops of that time. Then again, a lot of these dinosaurs still prowl the Police Precincts of today. This is why so many of the general public do not trust coppers. As for the rest of the cast, none are outstanding. Even the late Helen McCrory who was brilliant in Peaky Blinders is just reduced to a whimpering shell in this story line. Women are clearly just victims and footnotes in this series. Give it a pass.
