Wallace is clueless when it comes to common sense, but a genius when it comes to inventions. Gromit is Wallace's ever loyal and ever silent dog. Wallace and Gromit always work so well off of each other. Wallace typically makes the mistakes, and Gromit has to be the one to clean up his mess. This short is a delight. The audience can feel the passion behind this project in every single frame of its stop motion claymation. You can see Nick Park's literal and figurative fingerprints throughout the picture. It is a freshman effort, improvements to be made as Park would master his craft. But sometimes those smears are what make it all the more charming.
