Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express Welcome to Sajjanpur stays quirky and engaging even when the pace flags, and the rural accents turns faux, because of the felt screenplay and superbly robust, earthy dialogues by Ashok Mishra. May 2, 2019 Full Review Namrata Joshi Outlook The film never gets dull or downbeat. It never loses out on its rustic humour, courtesy some fine dialogue. Audience Member It's interesting to see life in rural India. Even the one literate guy in the village doesn't have a toothbrush! The comedy is weak and doesn't cross cultures well, and like many films, it focusing too much on romance. Even the songs are bad! I got 45 minutes into it before skimming the rest. Skip it. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member a gud message as "Never play wid any1's life..." Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member No cheap jokes or actors doing stupid things to make audience laugh like in a lot of so called comedy movies, but will definitely make you feel good!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Well done Shyam Benegal! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Less entertainer compare to Marathi movie Jau Tithe Khau [à¤à¤ 3/4ठतिथॠà¤-ठ3/4à¤]. Starring : Makrand Anaspure Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Stories of a small village all linked to its letter writer. However these lack a lot of stimulus, so while it looks nice it is also fairly dull. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
