Jami Bernard New York Daily News The four main characters are all odd, sad and lonely. No wonder they don't call each other on their cells to straighten things out -- they're all too depressed to dial. Rated: 1/5 Mar 18, 2014 Full Review Christy Lemire Associated Press Wicker Park is one of those maddening movies in which the characters do incredibly stupid things simply for the sake of plot contrivance, and everyone's problems would be solved if they simply picked up their cell phones. Mar 18, 2014 Full Review Peter Bradshaw Guardian A quite extraordinarily boring psychological drama of obsession, impersonation and mistaken identity. Rated: 1/5 Mar 18, 2014 Full Review Jon Fortgang Film4 Both bland and slightly daft. Mar 18, 2014 Full Review Total Film Tortuously twisting in on itself, Wicker Park keeps you guessing as it keeps its central pair apart. But it's scuppered by a plodding obviousness that's underlined by a sledgehammer soundtrack. Rated: 2/5 Mar 18, 2014 Full Review Brian Pendreigh Radio Times Convoluted though this plot may seem, at least the inventive visuals from Gangster No 1 director Paul McGuigan keep you engrossed. Sydney C This movie is so stupid. If you think this is good or romantic please see a therapist. How on earth is the main guy a protagonist? Dates a girl for two months, she leaves him, he finds a nice girl and dates her for two years before getting engaged to her, just to cheat on her with some rando, while looking for his ex. Then breaks up with her to go be with his ex that he dated for like two months. Absolute slop. Also do you want to know how this could have all been avoided? If they would have just called each other on the phone Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/03/25 Full Review Rasha I My favorite movie like it was made for a different time with no phones only letters along with my favorite song about real love and how it will have the last say Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/29/25 Full Review Brian D I cannot believe people thought this was a romantic movie. The main guy and girl both should be in prison for stalking good lord. Stalking and B&E aren't romantic it's psycho. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/30/25 Full Review Elvia L It’s 2004, I don’t think people really understand it unless you lived 2004 and remember what it was like. I LOVE this movie, you can’t just watch it and pray you get it you really have to pay attention and try to understand why. Sure there are some things that make you ask WHY?! But don’t , just enjoy it. Or don’t. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/25 Full Review Jonathan L Una película que tiene una gran historia con la buena trama y desarrollo aceptable pero la historia durante la película es aceptable y un desenlace bueno la verdad me gusto mucho en 2024 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/29/24 Full Review Iamwhoi M It's not unwatchable; but it's closer to that than enjoyable. It's just so contrived & convoluted, the story itself is dopey. It feels kind of like a Lifetime movie. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/14/24 Full Review Read all reviews
