Audience Member Esoteric, smart cult classic, way ahead of its time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Unfortunately, the conception that the Zenith's filmmakers had for this movie was not adequately transferred from their minds to the film. There is a lot of atmosphere, ambiance and dystopian undertones that is put on the film. But when you look behind this veil there is nothing there, not even an ending that delivers to the audience a reward for sitting through this abstract art film. The filmmakers are too caught up in creating their universe than populating that universe with a specific story. Disappointing in the end. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review bryan b Time paradox film reminds me of looper or predestination. Nothing new or much of a head scratcher. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Zenith is one of those movies that is full of conspiracy. the plot isn't 100% clear and some of the acting leaves something to be desired however it is a thinker movie. It allows the viewer to get lost in whatever world they feel they're in. Peter Scanavino is who I believe makes this movie as "Dumb Jack". He is believable, his look, everything about him fits the scenes even though sometimes you're confused as to where you are. I would say as far as movies go this isn't the top of my list but it is one that i say everyone should give a try at least once. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member For indie films, I think one has to rate them differently and have different expectations. With Zenith, I think the film has good effort and spirit. But I think in order to get things out of the film, you have to put extra energy into paying attention. (It is reminiscent of Primer in that respect.) If you can tolerate amateur filmmaking, enjoy movies like 12 Monkeys and Trancers, and like trying to figure out hidden meanings and puzzles then perhaps you can make Zenith work for you. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member well crafted and entertaining low-fi sci-fi tale Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Kevin Thomas Los Angeles Times To say the least, "Zenith" is challenging and elusive; it evokes a bleak view of the human condition and a sense that pervasive paranoia might well be justified. Rated: 4/5 Feb 3, 2011 Full Review Loren King Boston Globe For traditionalists who prefer their movies unfettered and non-interactive, "Zenith'' happens to be pretty good, though it's longer on style and atmosphere than clarity of storytelling. Rated: 2.5/4 Jan 27, 2011 Full Review Glenn Heath Jr. Slant Magazine The film's messy pacing ultimately undermines the frequently enthralling themes at play, and the indescribably odd ending only sends the viewer off more confused. Rated: 2/4 Jan 22, 2011 Full Review Andy Klein Christian Science Monitor Zenith doesn't always work, but at least it has interesting ambitions, including some sort of parallel existence on interactive websites. Rated: B- Feb 11, 2011 Full Review Matthew Nestel Boxoffice Magazine Zenith is a genre-bending experiment that needs an extended beta phase before going operational. Rated: 2/5 Jan 25, 2011 Full Review Maitland McDonagh Film Journal International Not everyone likes having to think while watching a movie, but viewers who do will find plenty to ponder in this twisty maze of facts that sound like fiction just a hair stranger than the truth Jan 19, 2011 Full Review Read all reviews
