If you like slow burns, forced proximity, and love triangles, you're in for a treat! I can't wait for season 2 to come out! The "champion sister" is presented as a star, but we barely see her achievements before her fall, so her loss doesn’t feel impactful. The protagonist returns after years off the ice, but her rapid progress to a world-class level feels unrealistic. Pair training shows falls and mistakes, but these feel like challenges of a new duo rather than someone regaining form and stamina. Her romance with Freddy lacks chemistry, while with the other had more spark, though his dark turn at the end felt forced. Competitions feel small and limited—only a few pairs are shown, giving little sense of a real World Championship or competitive circuit. The skating scenes are well filmed and among the best parts of the series, but they’re too few to carry the narrative fully. That’s what saves the show and keeps me watching all the episodes. However, it’s a predictable storyline and doesn’t bring anything new — just the basics.
