Starts off strong but ends up being just okay. Quite predictable after the 2nd episode. How many vanilla eggplants can we humiliate, kick, beat, and explode every episode? Standard teenage/college melodrama is tolerable, but the last couple of episodes felt rushed. A couple of the characters' motivations and personalities change suddenly, and the season ends abruptly, leaving an unsatisfactory unfinished aftertaste.

Gen V fires up a fantastic original in the world of The Boys, as it’s set in the college life of superheroes. With the crude and raunchy tone of The Boys, the show delivers the vibes of American Pie in a supernatural world. The young cast are all extremely talented and uplifts the force that graces this show’s fun and charm. Grading: A
