Gemma Wilson Seattle Times While the cast is all around excellent, what holds it together are the heartbreaking performances of its two leads. Oct 16, 2024 Full Review Valerie Anne Autostraddle It’s so refreshing to have a story about young people where the queerness isn’t designated to a background character or a Very Special Episode. Oct 9, 2024 Full Review Wenlei Ma The Nightly (AU) It’s so wholesome in the best way. Oct 4, 2024 Full Review Michael Shirey Gay City News As with previous seasons, “Heartstopper” doesn’t end with all of Nick and Charlie’s problems solved. It does, however, leave them – and hopefully viewers – knowing that they have a lot of love to give, romantic or otherwise. Nov 1, 2024 Full Review Paul McGuire Grimes Paul's Trip to the Movies Heartstopper needed to move in this direction and directly address the complicated teenage mindset when it comes to personal pressures and relationships. It’s voice and tone are fully intact and hasn’t shifted despite its popularity. Rated: 4/5 Oct 17, 2024 Full Review Rubén Rosario MiamiArtZine The show's safety-blanket approach to adolescence doesn't lose sight of the challenges the characters face. It is actually more adept in its handling of thorny mature topics than many series aimed squarely at grown-ups. Oct 15, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Jens B After three seasons it is still a joy to watch and I can't wait for season four. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/19/24 Full Review Jamie J Another great season of Heartstopper tackling more nuanced and serious issues but still finding moments of joy and fun. It definitely felt a bit unbalanced at times with too much focus on side characters which meant that storylines perhaps weren’t as developed as they could be. Joe Locke gave his best performance to date showing Charlie’s mental health struggles and road to recovery. I do find him a slightly inconsistent actor at times and a bit awkward in his performance but definitely his best so far. For me, Kit Connor was the standout again. He seems to have an ability to draw a viewer in with his performance, with subtlety and a demonstration of real emotion. The chemistry between Kit and Joe is glorious and I hope if they do get a 4th season the focus is squarely on those two main characters who are by far the strongest part of the whole show. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/09/24 Full Review Tobias K As the characters grow up, the seasons are getting better. Even minor characters like Tori finally get their chance at a real story line. Also, the split episode about Tao's documentary on Charlie & Nick being separated because of the hospital stay felt like the strongest episode yet. All in all, this was a much needed shot of positive energy. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/24/24 Full Review 13 E I enjoyed the show's first two seasons, but the third one did nothing but disappoint. In the third season, we get more involved with Charlie's anorexia and how Nick tries to help him. I know that people like Nick worry too much about their loved ones and think everything is their problem, but the way Nick tries to help Charlie and suffers as much as he does is rather unrealistic. The way the monologues are written is awful. Huge disappointment. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/19/24 Full Review Esteban C season three and the enchantment on this series is still going strong! the way this season made me feel is unreal. there’s not a single character i hate (i only dislike charlie’s mum but that’s normal), i think everyone is so cute and i really wish i could live in truham with these incredible human being. it was hard, it was complex, it was mature and it was fun (in the end)! difficulties, life choices and problems were part of this season (and the possible future of the series), and those were done so correctly and perfect, so i’m excited! i’ve actually been since minute one. what a beautiful series. it truly deserves all the love in the world <3 Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/14/24 Full Review harwinder singh G I love it best series ever Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/12/24 Full Review Read all reviews
