Kelly Lawler USA Today Season 4 is a mystery you don't need to be solved. Rated: 2/4 Oct 2, 2024 Full Review David Bianculli NPR This season, there’s a major influx of talent added to Only Murders in the Building -- but the new and returning faces don’t outshine the stars. They shine, and play, right along with them. Sep 9, 2024 Full Review Wenlei Ma The Nightly (AU) With its outsized characters, random asides and non-sequiturs, Only Murders in the Building remains an absolute delight. Sep 6, 2024 Full Review Devansh Sharma Hindustan Times With such a stellar cast lining up in its service, and the goodwill of three loved seasons to back it up, the latest instalment of Only Murders in the Building commits gross disservice to everything that could've worked in its favour. Jan 30, 2025 Full Review Tilly Pearce iNews.co.uk While there are still laughs – particularly Sazz Pataki’s stunt pals, Eva Longoria embracing life as a would-be super sleuth, & a getting-to-know-you montage with Galafianakis and Oliver that’s borderline romantic – season 4 has a lot more heart. Rated: 4/5 Jan 23, 2025 Full Review Joey Moser The Contending It doesn’t get better than this. Dec 19, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Esteban C new season, new murder and the same question lingers: why do people keep living in this building??! well, the cast was filled with a-listers, the drama flew through and through (sometimes it was way too much but it’s fine afterwards) and their lives took us to hollywood and back! i have to admit that the formula is getting a little too tiring on me, but the mystery was on point, didn’t suspect the killer up until the last minute and the chemistry between charles, oliver and mabel (as well as between steve, martin and selena) is just the perfect reason to keep watching it <3 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/25 Full Review Jason M Way too many cameos and extra Hollywood characters and not enough mystery. The dues ex machina was very lame as well. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/25 Full Review Matthew M Too many characters, the plot felt unfocused. This program has declined since season 3, and needs to return to its roots. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/24/25 Full Review E P Me gusto!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/25 Full Review D P I detected a slight decrease in quality for this season. But I'm still tuned in for the next season. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/14/25 Full Review Open S We are new to the series as of this week when it was aired over ABC (the loathed cable people though we are very happy we have cable. All the different streaming services are now ridiculous, confusing, and basically gouge you at will. We will keep our $40/month cable, thank you very much). Because of the hype, we were pretty excited to watch it for the first time. We were pretty disappointed or maybe our expectations were off but, I mean, it does star two of the funniest people on the planet and after watching one episode--WHY? Why does it cast two of the funniest people on the planet into a role in which they are obviously trying NOT to be funny, a strain so obvious, it's almost painful to watch. And with all due respect to Selena Gomez, we did not get her character at all and there is NO chemistry between her, Martin, and Short. (Miscast?) Again, the show is so forced, stilted, and frankly, flat, we actually decided not to watch additional episodes. Honestly, it's painful to watch. We found ourselves rooting for it to get funny or work (like watching SNL now) and gave up. Per all the accolades, did we miss something? We only know for us at least, it didn't work, we were disappointed, and we will probably not watch it again. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/10/25 Full Review Read all reviews
