Jun 18, 2023My family absolutely loved this show and could not stop watching after one episode! In the spirit of Anthony Bourdain, Chef Alisa Reynolds takes us on a culinary adventure and really connects with the "Soul" in all people. It was truly authentic! If you can handle a couple of expletives when the soul of a dish hits her, you will be delighted to binge this series. Had a chance to visit her restaurant & with every bite of her black eye peas stew and corn bread, I was teleported back to my southern roots. The sweet tea and peach cobbler were perfectly delectable as well. We were pleasantly surprised when chef took time out her hustle and bustle to snap a photo with us. Her place emitted the same energy as the show. A must see show and a definite MUST eat restaurant in Los Angeles.

Jun 05, 2023These stories are important. But this series is so disjointed and the way it's shot almost makes me feel a bit seasick. Why are they shooting interviews up people's noses and these weird poses with the interviewees? Sometimes the way the host speaks about things also seems a bit silly. It just seems like it was thrown together without much direction.
