Audience Member Started off interesting but spiraled into a mess after episode 3. And the ending is pathetic. What proof was there? And then those 2 characters are going to be besties? Lots of half-realized characters whose personalities change on a dime. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/15/24 Full Review Katie B I really enjoyed this. Sometimes I get bored during Netflix shows but this one really held my attention. I stayed up till 1am to finish it. Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber are great here. (I didn’t recognize him at first). The younger cast is less famous but did very well too. If you like Elin Hilderbrand’s books, you will like this. Tag is a total Zaddy and makes every woman sympathetic to why he provokes bad decisions. Thomas is the Seth Rogan of the family. Meredith was perfectly cast and executed. Dakota Fanning kills in her role as the unlikeable sister-in-law. The book by Elin Hilderbrand told the story better with more character depth and in-depth stories like on the father-in-law Bruce—enjoyable, easy-to-watch set in the utopia of the Cape. The only challenge would be the flash mob dance was not necessary and didn't fit the genre. True Nantucketers might have an outcry not truly set on the island.
