Aye E These episodes have so much potential with all the compelling stories they are covering in each episode. But they almost feel like they are being churned out by AI. The storytelling is uneven in most episodes, and all end abruptly leaving a lot of narrative threads untied. The Poop Cruise probably was the strongest on the storytelling, with the fewest dangling threads at the abrupt end. But the PI Moms episode was the worst so far. Just a mess of storytelling, so many missed opportunities to make it compelling or logical throughout the episode, so many duds where there should've been bombshells and another dead in the water ending. Weird use of minimal footage, odd lack of footage, & weird reenactments. Who is producing this waste of time? Do they even watch it before releasing it? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/24/25 Full Review L. F An interesting series which aims to capture moments in our history where things tip over into chaos and destruction. Overall, I enjoyed the series. Individual episodes provided a mixed bag of results (updating below, as I watch each episode). Ep 1. ASTROWORLD - Really benefited from the decision to combine the experiences of attendees, staff who worked the event & experts in the field to provide details of how the tragic events at the festival unfolded. The use of footage filmed by the crowd added layers. Score: 5/5. Ep 2. MAYOR OF MAYHEM - Rob Ford's controversial statements/behaviours are somewhat entertaining to watch, however, given the political climate across much of the world at the moment, his antics don't shock & surprise possibly as much as they should. Score: 3/5. Ep 3. POOP CRUISE -. Ep 4. AMERICAN APPAREL - Probably too big a story to tell in a single episode. It lacked depth, brushed over parts & missed out details. Ended very abruptly, which felt unsatisfying. Score: 3/5. Ep 5. THE REAL PROJECT X - Sadly, this episode fell flat for me. It documents that the mass gathering/rioting happened but fails to say anything beyond that & therefore felt a bit pointless. Score: 1/5. Ep 6. BALLOON BOY - This one pleasantly surprised me! I didn't know anything about the family. Interviews with them alongside home video & news footage gave insight into their unusual lives, covering the science experiments gone wrong as well as the media & legal fall out. Ending felt a bit rushed though. Score: 4/5. Ep 7. PI MOMS -. Ep 8. STORM AREA 51 -. Ep 7. PI MOMS Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/18/25 Full Review B P ‘Trainwreck: Poop Cruise - Episode 3 Review: You’ll Never Look at Lasagna the Same Way Again! If you enjoy a voyeuristic view to a disaster of epic proportions, you need to experience ‘Trainwreck: Poop Cruise.’ Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/07/25 Full Review Anaclara G Bro this is such a good concept and its so well executed! So refreshing. Very recommended. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/01/25 Full Review Kalissa H I watched The Poop Cruise episode and it was very entertaining. I did want more from the episode such as interviews with the crew that had to fix Triumph up after it was covered in urine and feces. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/28/25 Full Review SkyRo P Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedy is a 2025 Netflix documentary that chronicles one of the most devastating live event disasters in modern history — the Astroworld Festival, headlined by rapper Travis Scott. The film offers a gut-wrenching, unfiltered look at the chaos, negligence, and heartbreak that unfolded that night, leaving 10 concertgoers dead and hundreds more injured. This isn’t just another concert documentary — it’s a chilling exposé of how warning signs were ignored, how security and crowd control were grossly inadequate, and how corporate accountability was all but erased in the aftermath. Through disturbing footage, text messages, and witness interviews, the film lays bare the sheer lack of concern for human life shown by Live Nation, Travis Scott, and the overall event management team. One of the most haunting elements of the documentary is how fans in the crowd were visibly screaming for help, climbing on camera platforms, begging security and staff to stop the show — and were disregarded. Multiple scenes show people crushed, trampled, and suffocating as the music blared on, with Travis Scott reportedly informed through his earpiece about the crisis. Yet the show continued. There are also allegations that Houston police requested the concert be stopped, yet somehow it kept going. The documentary explores this gray area, but what’s made clear is that no one — not Live Nation, not Travis Scott, not law enforcement — took decisive action in time. No real justice has been served. No one has truly been held accountable. It’s infuriating to watch how settlements were quietly made, how Live Nation walked away relatively unscathed, and how Travis Scott’s career continues — despite video evidence and firsthand accounts that strongly suggest his negligence and failure to act responsibly. As a viewer, as a human being, you’re left heartbroken and angry. You feel the pain of the families, the frustration of survivors, and the overwhelming sense that the victims died for nothing — because no systemic changes or legal accountability followed. This is a must-watch documentary — not just for fans of music, but for anyone who cares about human decency, responsibility, and justice. It’s a powerful reminder that lives should never be the price of profit, and that when tragedy strikes, there must be consequences. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/18/25 Full Review Read all reviews
