It’s a simple and dumbed down narration that adds Ryan Reynolds charm with his comedic commentary, showing less seen behaviours of animals, a very good comfort watch! It’s beautifully shot, with a compelling theme and interesting and new animal stories that celebrate resilience in nature. unfortunately, the experience was ruined by completely unnecessary sexual innuendo in the narration. It felt out of place, detracting from the educational and inspiring tone the show otherwise delivers so well. I’m baffled as to why Nat Geo would cater to that kind of humor in a nature documentary, especially when it doesn’t fit the plot. It’s a shame. I’d love to watch this with my 13 year old daughter but will not be subjecting her to this. Disappointed in Nat Geo.
