Audience Member The amount of joy I got from each episode! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/11/25 Full Review Brandon C Ignore all the ‘’it’s not family friendly’’ reviews, the series appears as 16+ on Disney plus, so that should be an indication not to watch with kids. It’s a simple and dumbed down narration that adds Ryan Reynolds charm with his comedic commentary, showing less seen behaviours of animals, a very good comfort watch! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/09/25 Full Review Brooke T National Geographic’s Underdogs had the potential to be a phenomenal family show. It’s beautifully shot, with a compelling theme and interesting and new animal stories that celebrate resilience in nature. unfortunately, the experience was ruined by completely unnecessary sexual innuendo in the narration. It felt out of place, detracting from the educational and inspiring tone the show otherwise delivers so well. I’m baffled as to why Nat Geo would cater to that kind of humor in a nature documentary, especially when it doesn’t fit the plot. It’s a shame. I’d love to watch this with my 13 year old daughter but will not be subjecting her to this. Disappointed in Nat Geo. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/06/25 Full Review דורון ע The narration is so bad. Ruining the show. Such interesting animals but seriously- Unwatchable Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 06/29/25 Full Review Lexie R NOT family friendly and should have a warning about all the sexual jokes and first five minutes an honey badger is being ripped apart. Do not let your children watch this crap. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/09/25 Full Review Dave L Just as informative as Sir David Attenbough, but I did find Ryan Reynolds insight's somewhat more entertaining 🤣🤣 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/18/25 Full Review Read all reviews
