Barbara Broccoli
Producer Barbara Broccoli is the youngest daughter of feature film producer Albert R. Broccoli, who is most famous for his work on the James Bond films. After graduating from Loyola Marymount University, Broccoli went to work for her father's company, EON Productions. She began working on her father's films as early as the 1979 Bond film "Moonraker," but wasn't officially credited until 1983's "Octopussy" as an assistant director. After working as an associate producer on both "The Living Daylights" and "Licence to Kill," she took over her father's role as producer for the 1995 Bond film"GoldenEye," which introduced Pierce Brosnan as the super spy. Broccoli has remained a producer on every Bond film throughout the 1990s and 2000s, working in collaboration with her stepbrother, Michael G. Wilson. The stepsiblings gained new respect for completely revitalizing the Bond franchise, once thought moribund, with 2006's very well received remake, "Casino Royale." Broccoli is also a successful theater producer, responsible for the London and American stagings of "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang." For her contributions to the world of film Broccoli was awarded Officer of the Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.).
