David Landau
David Landau was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Landau began his acting career appearing in various films, such as "Street Scene" (1931) with Sylvia Sidney, the drama "Arrowsmith" (1931) with Ronald Colman and the Pat O'Brien action film "Air Mail" (1932). He also appeared in the Douglas Fairbanks Jr. drama "It's Tough to Be Famous" (1932), "False Faces" (1932) and the crime picture "I Am a Fugitive From a Chain Gang" (1932) with Paul Muni. He continued to act in productions like "This Reckless Age" (1932), the dramatic adaptation "Union Depot" (1932) with Douglas Fairbanks Jr. and the drama "The Purchase Price" (1932) with Barbara Stanwyck. He also appeared in "The Roadhouse Murder" (1932). Landau was most recently credited in the Daniel Craig smash hit crime drama "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" (2011). In the thirties through the nineties, Landau lent his talents to projects like "Judge Priest" (1934), "Less Than Zero" (1987) and "Frankie and Johnny" (1991). His credits also expanded to "Tombstone" with Kurt Russell (1993) and "Sleep With Me" with Meg Tilly (1994). Landau passed away in September 1935 at the age of 56.
