Edwin de Vries
Edwin DeVries was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. DeVries began his acting career appearing in various films, such as "De Schorpioen" (1984) with Peter Tuinman, "In de Schaduw Van de Overwinning" (1985) and the Renee Soutendijk comedy adaptation "Een Maand Later" (1987). He also appeared in "Jan Rap en Z'n Maat" (1989) with Jasperina DeJong. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the dramatic adaptation "Leedvermaak" (1989) with Catherine Ten Bruggencate, the dramatic adaptation "Last Call" (1995) with Rijk DeGooyer and "Do Not Disturb" (1999). DeVries had a number of different projects under his belt in the early 2000s, including "Left Luggage" (2000), "The Discovery of Heaven" with Neil Newbon (2001) and "Twin Sisters" with Nadja Uhl (2005). Most recently, DeVries worked on the dramatic adaptation "Zomerhitte" (2008) with Sophie Hilbrand.
