Frank Sinatra Jr.
Frank Sinatra Jr. was a singer and actor who had a successful career despite never escaping the shadow of his iconic father, for whom he frequently performed as band leader and opening act. Sinatra frequently worked in television, including appearances on "Saturday Night Live" (NBC, 1975-), "Ed Sullivan's Broadway" (CBS, 1972-73) and "Clinic on 18th Street" (NBC, 1973-74). Sinatra also contributed music to the horror feature "Beach Girls and the Monster" (1965) with Jon Hall. He also contributed to a variety of television specials about his famous family and friends, including "Sinatra -- The First 40 Years" (NBC, 1979), "Sinatra Duets" (CBS, 1994), and "Rickles on the Loose" (Showtime, 1985). In his later years, Sinatra appeared in the Sid Levin documentary "The Man Who Shot Chinatown: The Life and Work of John A. Alonzo" (2007), lent his distinctive voice to the animated hit "Family Guy" (Fox, 1998-), and acted on legal drama "The Defenders" (CBS, 2010-11). Frank Sinatra Jr. died of cardiac arrest in Daytona Beach, Florida on March 16, 2016. He was 72 years old.
