Hank Jones
Hank Jones was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Jones worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award Show" (CBS, 1987-88), "Stardust Memories" with Woody Allen (1980) and "The Garry Moore Show" (CBS, 1949-1967). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Wolf Trap Salutes Dizzy Gillespie: An All-Star Tribute to the Jazz Master" (1987-88), "Carnegie Hall Salutes the Jazz Masters" (PBS, 1993-94) and "Wolf Trap Presents a World of Performance" (PBS, 1993-94). He also appeared in "A Vote For Dizzy" (BET On Jazz: The Cable Jazz Channel, 1997-98). During these years, he also worked in film, earning a part in the documentary "A Great Day in Harlem" (1995) with Art Blakey. Jones last appeared on "The 51st Annual Grammy Awards" (CBS, 2008-09). Jones passed away in May 2010 at the age of 92.
