Herbert Rawlinson

Herbert Rawlinson was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Rawlinson landed roles in various films, including "Charge It" (1921), "Another Man's Shoes" (1922) and "The Man in Blue" (1925). He also appeared in "The Flame Fighter" (1925), the Leo Carrillo musical "Moonlight and Pretzels" (1933) and the Rochelle Hudson crime flick "Show Them No Mercy" (1935). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "The Kid Comes Back" (1937), "Women Are Like That" (1937) and "Under the Big Top" (1938). He also appeared in the drama "Secrets of an Actress" (1938) with George Brent. In the latter part of his career, he continued to act in "Perils of the Royal Mounted" (1942), the western "Lost Canyon" (1942) with Jay Kirby and "The Panther's Claw" (1942) with Sidney Blackmer. He also appeared in the mystery "Cosmo Jones in Crime Smasher" (1943) with Frank Graham and the Lum and Abner comedy "Two Weeks to Live" (1943). Rawlinson was most recently credited in the crime feature "Jailbait" (1954) with Lyle Talbot. Rawlinson passed away in July 1953 at the age of 68.
