Julia Nickson
Born in Singapore to an English father and a Chinese mother, Julia Nickson first gained fame as Sylvester Stallone's costar in "Rambo: First Blood Part II." During her upbringing she was an active equestrian rider and model. She attended the University of Hawaii, where she studied drama. In 1982 she made her TV debut on the detective show "Magnum, P.I.." After playing a Vietnamese freedom fighter in "Rambo: First Blood Part II," she had a co-starring role with Pierce Brosnan in the miniseries "Noble House" and then appeared with Brosnan again in the British adventure miniseries"Around the World in 80 Days" in 1989. In the '90s she had a role in the adventure "K2," starred in the period drama "China Cry: A True Story," and had a recurring role in the Chuck Norris drama "Walker, Texas Ranger." Other key roles she has played include the mother of a troubled teen in the indie film "Ethan Mao," and Saura in the sci-fi drama "Half-Life" in 2008.
