Lauritz Melchior
Lauritz Melchior was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Melchior began his career with a role in the musical "Thrill of a Romance" (1945) with Van Johnson. Melchior began to focus on film after appearing in the musical "Two Sisters From Boston" (1946) with Kathryn Grayson and "This Time For Keeps" (1947). Later in his career, Melchior acted in the George Brent musical comedy "Luxury Liner" (1948). Melchior passed away in March 1973 at the age of 83.
