Lee Sholem directed a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career, showing his versatility as a director. Various films make up Sholem's early directing career, including the Lex Barker adventure "Tarzan's Magic Fountain" (1949), the Lex Barker adventure "Tarzan and the Slave Girl" (1950) and "Superman and the Mole Men" (1951). He also appeared in the Maureen O'Hara western "The Redhead From Wyoming" (1953). He continued to work in film in the fifties, directing motion pictures like "Ma and Pa Kettle at Waikiki" (1955) with Marjorie Main and the Jon Hall dramatic adventure "Hell Ship Mutiny" (1957). Sholem more recently directed "The Lawman" (ABC, 1958-1962). Sholem passed away in August 2000 at the age of 87.
