Louise Bourgoin

The beautiful Louise Bourgoin was a French actress, model, and television personality best known for her feature film debut "The Girl From Monaco" (2008) and "The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec" (2010). Bourgoin was born on November 28, 1981 in Vannes, France. She enrolled in the widely recognized art school École des Beaux-Arts. During her studies, Bourgoin began modeling professionally; her most notable work was done for British photographer Ian Sanderson. After she graduated from École des Beaux-Arts in 2004, she joined Filles TV's "Kawaï" as a television presenter. French television viewers saw more of her when she joined Canal +'s nightly news show, "Le Grand Journal" (2004- ). She was first brought on board as a weather girl, but her charisma and popularity turned her into a regular on-screen personality. In 2008, Bourgoin ventured into French cinema with her feature film debut in "The Girl From Monaco." Her role as the promiscuous Audrey Varella was positively received by critics and garnered her a César Award nomination for Most Promising Actress in 2009. She teamed up with acclaimed film director Luc Besson to play the titular heroine in the 2010 big screen adaptation of Jacques Tardi's comic book series, "The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec." Bourgoin was next seen in Axelle Ropert's sophomore film, "Miss and the Doctors (Tirez la langue, mademoiselle)" (2013), an intimate look into the complex relationships of working class people.
