Marvin Kaplan
No matter what role, Marvin Kaplan never failed to cause uncontrollable laughter throughout his film career. In his early acting career, Kaplan appeared in such films as the comedic fantasy "Angels in the Outfield" (1951) with Paul Douglas, "Behave Yourself" (1951) and the Ernie Kovacs comedy "Wake Me When It's Over" (1960). He also appeared in "A New Kind of Love" (1963) with Paul Newman, "The Nutty Professor" (1963) and the comedy "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" (1963) with Spencer Tracy. He kept working in film throughout the sixties and the eighties, starring in the comedy "Freaky Friday" (1976) with Barbara Harris and the Ronny Cox comedy "Hollywood Vice Squad" (1986). He also appeared in the TV special "The Chicago Teddy Bears" (CBS, 1971-72). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Julia" (NBC, 1968-1971). He also was featured in the TV movie "Double Your Pleasure" (NBC, 1989-1990). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "On the Air" (ABC, 1991-92). Kaplan most recently voiced characters in "Disney's Lloyd in Space" (ABC, 2000-02).
