Rob Dyrdek
Though he became famous for being a successful competitive skateboarder, Rob Dyrdek became much more after he moved beyond the world of extreme sports to become a successful entrepreneur, philanthropist and reality show actor. Dyrdek starred in two successful reality series "Rob & Big" (MTV, 2006-08) and "Fantasy Factory" (MTV, 2009-15), which showcased his painstakingly methodical approach to entertainment, business and most importantly, his sport. No idea or stunt was too far-fetched for the funny, likeable and outspoken skateboarder, whether it was attempting numerous Guinness World Records on his shows or creating the Rob Dyrdek/DC Shoes Skate Plaza Foundation, which built safe skate parks around the country. In 2008, Dyrdek ventured into feature films, acting alongside heavyweights Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in "Righteous Kill," proving that even a skateboarder from Ohio had a place among the Hollywood elite.
