Theresa Harris
Theresa Harris was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Harris kickstarted her acting career in various films such as "Baby Face" (1933), "Blood Money" (1933) and the Jean Harlow dramedy "Hold Your Man" (1933). She also appeared in "Private Detective 62" (1933), "Professional Sweetheart" (1933) with Ginger Rogers and the dramatic adaptation "Jezebel" (1938) with Bette Davis. She continued to act in productions like "The Toy Wife" (1938), the Melvyn Douglas drama "Tell No Tales" (1939) and "Love Thy Neighbor" (1940) with Jack Benny. She also appeared in "Blossoms in the Dust" (1941), "The Flame of New Orleans" (1941) and "Three Little Girls in Blue" (1946). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in "Miracle on 34th Street" (1947), the thrilling adaptation "Out of the Past" (1947) with Robert Mitchum and the thriller "The Big Clock" (1948) with Ray Milland. She also appeared in "The Velvet Touch" (1948) with Rosalind Russell, the Van Johnson comedy "Grounds For Marriage" (1950) and "Angel Face" (1953). Harris more recently acted in the Jane Russell musical "The French Line" (1954). Harris passed away in October 1985 at the age of 76.
