João R --------------------------------------------------------------- SPOILER ALERT --------------------------------------------------------------- There's a lot to unpack here. Is it ever mentioned that the main character isn't the broken legged girl's biological mother? The first time the daughter and husband show up, at the hospital, I thought it was the main character's sister and father from the way they were referring to her. Her brother is old enough to be her father, and looks older, happens in real life but an odd choice for a movie. Henry (the aforementioned brother) is by far the best character, from his super aggressive "Are you ok?" to his "keep quiet" immediately followed by "RUUUUUUUUUN!". His line delivery is awesome, his inflection more often than not being best described as there being a sense of urgency with which someone in desperate need of a bowel movement would ask "Where is the bathroom?" to the person behind the counter at a cafe they just ran into. Allison frantically spraying an alien with a spray bottle created an "action" scene with as much punch as if she'd attacked the alien with a wilted daisy. Genius! Killing the aliens with a disease... CAN I GET A "CLICHÉ" MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS? I'm terrible at acting, if only the same self-awareness was present in this movie's cast... Please watch this movie, otherwise we might one day find ourselves living in a world without terrible movies. That'd be almost as big a tragedy as spending money on this movie when it could be used for something far more useful, like ensuring there's a freezer in every igloo.
