If you liked the first film I'd be really surprised if you didn't like Äppleseed: Ex Machina". Yet while it rectifies a couple of errors from the previous film it unfortunately introduces some new ones.

I'd say this went up in quality with time, just for sticking with characters and a world you can invest in. I'm not a fan of the style of this film, but the characters still drive the story, and it's very well done.

Similar notion or theme as the Ghost in shell movies and series, and "I Robot" centering on the amok of technology It takes place in the future, and it regards, how humans with head pieces took control of human beings.
